This is what my blog looks like as a mosaic. Thanks Jessica for the link!
Allthe boys were like, WHO ARE YOU and i was like, fuck you! is msn your home page? do you use bing? do you use a PC mr FLIP PHONE so they were like WHO ARE YOU even more so and i told them i worked at a BLOGGING PLATFORM which meant absolutely nothing to them and i think they were afraid of me.
The greatest piece of internet prose I have ever read. Meaghan: fuck anyone who doesn’t understand that working at Tumblr is the coolest thing on the planet (or who has MSN as their homepage, etc etc)
Tumblr continues to serve as an interesting experiment in new media. The immediacy of the platform makes it desirable to me. There is no reason why anyone needs to post as much as they do and yet we continue to do it, spurred by the ease inherent in using Tumblr. This is not necessarily a bad thing. I’ve probably learned more about the world (and interacted with more people across the globe) using Tumblr than if I had not and for that I am grateful. The internal, self-loathing bubble I used to constantly live in pre-Tumblr was exhausting to say the least.
