The Monthly: Sort of like The New Yorker but four times less frequent and about half as interesting, White Melbournians read The Monthly because it makes them appear literary. It also makes them appear more nerdy, and therefore cool.
“Stuff White People Like - The Melbourne Version“ This is so true - except that I generally find The Monthly more interesting than The New Yorker.
